Joseph W. Sack

 Joseph W. Sack, Executive Vice President, The Bond Market Association
Joseph Sack, Executive Vice President of The Bond Market Association (TBMA), oversees technology and e-commerce, asset manager relations and bond industry operations initiatives on behalf of TBMA and its member firms. Mr. Sack is directly responsible at TBMA for providing leadership and substantive expertise to the Technology Committee, The Asset Managers Forum, the STP Steering Committee, the Business Continuity Management Council and the newly-formed Asset Managers Division. Since 1991, Mr. Sacks principal role at TBMA has entailed mobilizing the sellside, the buyside, utilities, regulators and vendors in pursuit of common objectives. This work is advocacy in nature and is done in tandem with TBMAs Washington, D.C. office and typically involves a dialogue with decision-makers at regulatory agencies. In addition to his present position as EVP at TBMA and his prior investment banking experience as COO at Lebenthal & Co., Mr. Sack has served as Arbitration Counsel at the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Sack is admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Jersey. He earned a B.A. degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.

Dr. S.P. Kothari is Head of the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting and Gordon Y Billard Professor of Management at Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Kothari has broad-ranging interests and expertise in accounting and finance, and he is an editor of the Journal of Accounting & Economics, a world-renowned academic research journal in accounting. His research focuses on financial reporting and valuation, explaining the diversity in international accounting practices, use of employee stock options for compensating executives and accounting for stock options, evaluating investment performance, and corporate uses of derivatives for hedging and speculation. In addition, Professor Kothari is an expert on economic policy issues in India. Professor Kothari serves on the Board of Directors of Vicarious Visions (www.vvisions.com) and he is a Senior Consultant at Charles River Associates (www.crai.com). Paul J. N. Roy is a partner in the Outsourcing Practice. Paul has represented national and international firms in a broad range of outsourcing transactions, including the outsourcing of information technology services and support, application development and maintenance, telecommunications services, help desk services and support, business processes and functions, facilities management services, procurement, and e-commerce transaction processing and support. He has represented established and emerging companies in many different industries, including manufacturing, financial services, consumer products, chemicals, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, insurance, health care, banking, life sciences, real estate, and information technology. Paul has represented numerous Fortune 500 clients in outsourcing transactions. David Weild

David Weild, CEO, The National Research Exchange,
Former Vice Chairman of Nasdaq

Mr. Weild is the founder of The National Research Exchange. He was formerly Vice Chairman of The NASDAQ Stock Market with line responsibility for NASDAQ's four thousand listed companies. Mr. Weild was the visionary behind NASDAQ's Market Intelligence Desk and Corporate Services Network. Prior to NASDAQ, Mr. Weild spent 14 years at Prudential and Prudential Securities in a number of senior management roles, including President of eCommerce, Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Technology Investment Banking and Head of Equity Transactions. Weild is a member of Kappa Beta Phi, The New York Economic Club and The Bond Club of New York, where he served as a past treasurer. He currently serves as an advisor to a number of private companies and to Ascend Ventures, a minority-owned venture capital fund. Weild received his BA from Wesleyan University and spent a year studying abroad at La Sorbonne. He received an M.B.A. from The Stern School of Business and studied abroad at L' Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales and The Stockholm School of Economics. Weild also did graduate work in molecular genetics at Wesleyan and New York University and has held Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses.

Laurance is the CEO of Bateleur Media Inc. and publisher of ValueNewsNetwork.com. He has experience of over fifteen years as CEO in international publishing. He launched the Financial Times in North America and is the former publisher of the Harvard Business Review. Laurance also is the founding publisher of Strategy & Business. Aron Midownik

Aron Miodownik leads a boutique advisory and consulting business called Cambrian Associates that serves CEOs, COOs, CIOs, VC and Private Equity firms operating in the intersection between the finance and technology sectors. Cambrian focuses on capital raising, business development, operational restructuring, due diligence and technology strategy for its clients.

Prior to starting Cambrian Associates, Aron was the COO of Merrill Lynch's Research Department from 2002-2005 where he implemented the NextGen technology platform (based on Microsoft technologies), launched the iQanalytics suite of products, and helped restructure the department and manage the regulatory risk programs.

Prior to his COO role, Aron held a number of senior roles at Merrill including: the Global Head of Technology Strategy & Business Development, the Head of Business Continuity, The Head of the Alternative Development Centers, the Head of BPO initiatives, the head of Quarterly Business Reviews and the CIO for Global Research.

Before joining Merrill Lynch, Aron was an Executive Director in UBS's Equities Division where he held a number of senior e-commerce, business development, operations risk and merger integrations roles. Prior to his time at UBS, Aron spent 8 years with Accenture (formally Andersen Consulting) performing strategic business reviews, M&A planning, technology strategy and operational restructurings for clients in UK, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, US, and Continental Europe. Aron graduated from Durham University in 1987 with a degree in Engineering Science and Management



William F. Gibson

William F. Gibson, CEO, IVY Creek Associates
William F. Gibson is the CEO of IVY Creek Associates, a consulting firm in the financial services industry. He has been the Global Chief Operating Officer for ING Investment Management, and the Chief Operating Officer for New York Life Investment Management. Will has spent many years on both the buy-side and sell-side, both on Wall Street and internationally. In these, and previous roles, he provides leadership in the securities processing and operations, information technology, mergers & acquisitions, finance, risk management, compliance, and strategic planning, areas.

In addition to being a member of the Advisory Board of FSO Knowledge Xchange, Will is on the Board of Directors of the Asset Management Division of the Bond Market Association, the Board of Directors of IndexIQ (the leading developer of next-generation index and quantitative investment strategies), and the Client Advisory Board of the Bank of New York Mellon. He is also on the Alumni Board of James Madison College of Michigan State University.

He has participated in numerous panels and committees of the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA), Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d'Investissement (ALFI), the Securities Industry Association, and chaired the international Euromoney Outsourcing conference, as well as several FSO events. He is also the co-author of How to Do Systems Analysis, which is published by John Wiley & Sons (2007).
